I am Sherrea Elliott-Sterling, a dedicated wife, mother of three young children, and a passionate advocate for seeing our community begin to thrive and not just survive. I will establish a new season in District 4 where middle-class families, working hard to build and create wealth, have real paths for economic development and financial freedom. I believe District 4 is a place where we can create a new season of growth and opportunity for the district—one where we focus on building lasting wealth and breaking the cycles of poverty and crime.

A Leader with Vision!
My name is Sherrea Elliott-Sterling, and I am running to represent Colorado Springs City Council District 4. I am a community leader that knows how to navigate through constant change, who understands the importance of communication in the growth process, and has the courage to stop nurturing the status quo with a vision and fortitude that will change our city. For me, I run now, because I see an opportunity to build up a whole district and city, so that’s just what I’m going to do!

Currently, I am serving on the City Drainage Board, where we work to address critical infrastructure issues and improve the quality of life for Colorado Springs residents. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of the needs of families in our district. As a City Council member, I am determined to bring practical solutions, be a strong advocate for District 4, foster economic development, and create safe, thriving communities for our families.
As a candidate for City Council, my vision is clear: to build a community where our collective efforts, time, and taxes bring a tangible return on investment, rather than feeding into a broken system. Having lived in Colorado Springs since 2014, I have seen firsthand the challenges and opportunities within our area and I am driven to create a district where individuals, families, businesses, and children all have the opportunities they deserve to grow, prosper, and build a sustainable and thriving future.
